“Physical pain is just an extension of emotion. It's all the same thing. There are two emotions. One feels good and one feels bad. Which means, you're connected to your Energy Stream or you're not allowing your Energy Stream.”

Living In My Body

July 23rd, 2009

1193819_flight_over_water_3After all is said and done, after all the ideas and questions and wondering and feeling, who are we?  Really, who am I?  Who are you?  We  are consciousness.  And where does that consciousness reside?  Where does it not reside?  It resides everywhere.  In every leaf, in every eye, in every drop of rain.

As I look around on other blogs on the subject of spirituality there is a lot of sharing of ideas about spirituality and about who we are and even about consciousness.  As much as I love the writers and their words, that’s not where I find consciousness.  I find it in my body.  Not in my mind.  My mind has helped me and continues to help me.  I couldn’t be here without my mind.  It does an untold number of tasks, some in the background and some that I am aware of.  But, it isn’t where I find consciousness.  My mind has helped me to uncover and understand and untangle.  It is my very good friend.  It is not where I find consciousness.

I find counciousness in my body.  That is where I reside.  That is where I wait for the unknown to become known.  I thought it was in my mind.  But, it’s not.  It’s in my body.  I live in my body.  How amazing this realization is for me.  And how much I am loved and love.  How much is all that I desire and love moving toward me, now.  I just Am.  Here.  Now.

    Greetings Anne!

Nice post. I have to share with you that practicing the physical yoga postures will even deepen your awareness and consciousness in the body, which is our temple! I love the practice. It can help one to be so enthusiatic!

I teach yoga, but I also continually study it, as it is vast and to me limitless. If you have time check out a style of yoga called Bikram Yoga. You can google it and see where it is in your city. Awesome work out!

Again I concur that conscious is definitely in the body and everywhere else.

In regard to the mind, it can be your ‘best friend’ or your ‘worst enemy’. I sure you know that from Eckhart Tolle and “Abraham”

Take care and continue to enjoy your journey to You!

    Hi Anne……

Oh yes, my body is the wholeness that houses and sustains my essence. I am one of mind, body and spirit –
I had the honor of being part of a journey with a woman who carried all her memories visibly in her body – she was coiled and arthritic. As she became free she began to untangle and her body relaxed. It was a miracle to behold.

    Love to you
    Gail
    peace…..

What resides within is the inner spirit. The inner spirit lived in the spirit world before entering the human cycle.

Individuals reside at different levels of consciousness, the trick is to raise your level of consciousness, which is very difficult, unless you come across a method that can release the emotional baggage that is preventing your consciousness to increase.

A high level of consciousness is rare.
