Hello Liara, so good to have you here! I'm glad for your comment because it inspires me to clarify. I looked up sentiment in the dictionary and there is more than one way to use the word.

To me, and of course in my writings, I am using unconditional love to be a state of consciousness first and then a feeling or action that comes from this state.

By making a decision about it, I am not following some mushy feelings, not that I think you meant it this way. But an interconnected, integrated, realization of just who we really are. And then the choosing to focus on that knowing only, as I relate to others.

And the other very cool thing you touched on, thank you so much, is the response of others to this state. I notice that negative and verbally hurtful people are non existent in my environment these days. I think it is because of my focus and law of attraction responding to my dominant intent.

I thank you so much for your insights here, you are truly helpful to me in bringing out enhancing ideas to go with my posts. Thanks my friend.

Anne, you express beautiful sentiments. One lesson I have learned is that not everyone we meet is consciously aware of the feeling of unconditional love. It can seem tempting to avoid negative and verbally-hurtful people. And yet, it can also be meaningful to show them a different example from the sentiments they have come to know. How we react to others is a reflection of how we perceive the inner self.

Hi Gail, It is wonderful, love that never ceases. I think it is more wonderful for the giver than the receiver, if that is possible. xoxo

Hi Anne-

Oh yes, unconditional love. This reminds me of what I have always said to my kids - "I love you no matter what"!!! And it was clear that they each had varying amounts of "no matter whats"...... situations that gave true meaning to the words "I love you no matter what",or unconditionally. No matter what, the love never ceases. Wonderful, huh? Great post.

Love to you
Gail
peace......
